Question / Issue
I was thinking of changing my exhaust cam to intake cam. The guys at the track told me use same year intake cam from a 1000, but my Suzuki dealer service guy said 750 intake. Schnitzracing.com says 600 intake, what’s your feed back on this?

Answer / Solution

DO NOT use a stock 1000 intake on the exhaust side of a stock 1000 engine…you will lose 10 hp or more EVERYWHERE. We have used the 750 intake with good results. Haven’t tried the 600 so I can’t comment on its performance.
